On many Ford Transit Connect models, the heated door mirrors are automatically activated when you turn on the rear window defroster. There is usually no separate indicator light for the heated mirrors — so even if you don’t see an indicator, the mirrors may still be heated.
If you experience that the mirrors are not heating, it could be due to a faulty fuse, mirror heating element or relay.
