Thanks for your question! While we unfortunately can’t decode Chinese VINs to confirm engine size or model year, you can still check this manually in a couple of easy steps.
First, look directly at the engine casing — specifically on the left-hand side near the center stand. That’s where you’ll find your engine number stamped. It’s usually just below the swingarm pivot area, next to where the engine mounts to the frame.
This particular manual covers scooters using a 49.5cc 4-stroke GY6 engine — specifically the following models:
- JL50QT-18
- JL50QT-X1/8
- JL50QT-14
If your scooter uses a similar GY6 engine layout and design, this manual will be a match.
