So your Yamaha golf cart’s transmission is weeping oil?
Most of the time, it’s just a bad seal or gasket — axle seals, input shaft seals, that sort of thing. Could also be the drain or fill plug not tightened right, or worst case, a hairline crack in the casing if it got smacked good. Another sneaky one is too much gear oil — it’ll blow out the breather if overfilled.
Start by giving the trans case a good degreasing so you can see exactly where it’s leaking. Then check the seals, plugs, and whether it’s overfilled. If it’s a seal, no biggie — the manual shows how to swap 'em out, with all the diagrams and specs you’d need. Nothing too wild here. Just messy.
