On the 2004 Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas (X350), the A/C charging ports are located in the engine bay, but they’re tucked in a bit.
The low-pressure port (where you charge the system) is usually found on the larger-diameter aluminum line, coming off the passenger side of the firewall, near the accumulator/drier.
The high-pressure port is on the smaller-diameter line, often running along the front of the engine bay, near the condenser or radiator support.
Both ports are capped with plastic xxxx -on covers (usually black and red or blue) and are labeled H and L. You’ll need an R-134a-compatible quick-connect fitting for either one.
Luckily, this manual shows the full layout, diagrams, and pressure specs if you’re planning to recharge or diagnose the system. It also comes with step-by-step instructions, clear images, and exploded-view illustrations — super helpful for DIY repairs.
