This manual is specifically for the civilian Hummer H1 and early commercial Hummer variants produced between 1995 and 2007. It does not officially cover the military Humvee (HMMWV).
That said, many core systems are nearly identical — including the engine, drivetrain, suspension, cooling system, brake components, and overall chassis layout — especially on earlier military models. For general mechanical work, maintenance, diagnostics, and torque specs, this manual can still be a valuable reference if you're working on a military Humvee.
