For the 2007 RAV4, a healthy ABS wheel speed sensor usually measures somewhere between 900 to 1300 ohms. But that can vary slightly depending on whether it’s a front or rear sensor and whether it’s a passive or active type.
If you’re reading infinite resistance (open circuit) or zero ohms (short circuit), that’s a bad sensor (it’s either broken internally or shorted out).
Quick tip: unplug the sensor and measure directly at the sensor plug (not the harness side) with a multimeter set to ohms. Also check for signs of physical damage, rust buildup, or debris — especially if you're getting intermittent ABS light issues.
In any case, this manual has everything you need to know to work on the ABS system, including step-by-step instructions, clear images, and exploded-view illustrations.
