The 2004 Mercedes-Benz E240 (W211) Avantgarde was offered in both rear-wheel drive (standard) and all-wheel drive (called 4MATIC) configurations. There isn’t a “2MATIC” variant — that just means standard rear-wheel drive (RWD).
