The Ford 1520 holds 4.5 liters (4.8 U.S. quarts) of engine oil when doing an oil and filter change.
If you’re regularly maintaining your tractor yourself, I’d definitely suggest grabbing the manual for it. It’s got every spec you’ll ever need, from oil capacity and torque values to valve lash settings and full step-by-step procedures. Seriously useful stuff. It'll save you time, guesswork, and probably a few bucks in downtime — and we both know downtime on a farm doesn’t just waste time, it costs money too... a lot more than how much this manual will cost you, in fact.
