Hyundai uses internal platform codes to identify different generations of the Santa Fe. For your 2013 model, it could be either CM or DM, depending on where it was sold.
- CM = second generation (2006-2012), but in some markets it continued into early 2013.
- DM = third generation, launched globally in 2012 as a 2013 model year.
If your Santa Fe has the older, rounder design with the split grille and simpler headlights, it's probably a CM. If it has the newer, sharper look with sleeker headlights and a more aggressive front end, it's a DM.
