Yeah, pulling the tach off a Suzuki GR650 isn’t too complicated once you know where to look, but it's not something that jumps out at you either.
I'd start by removing the headlight to give yourself some working space. There’s a cluster of wires in there and it’ll help you see the back of the gauge pod more clearly. The tach itself is mounted to the gauge bracket with a couple of small nuts on threaded studs.
You’ll access them from behind the gauge (usually 10mm or smaller). Unplug the tach cable from the engine (should be right near the cylinder head) and gently unscrew it from the tach housing as well. Once the cable is off and the nuts are undone, the tach should lift right out.
In any case, the manual does cover this under the electrical/instrumentation section and also shows cable routing and basic gauge servicing tips, so it’ll definitely help if you're diving deeper into a rebuild or swap.
