Alright, on the 2003–2006 Ford Expedition, the front blend door actuator is tucked up behind the dash, right near the HVAC plenum, above the accelerator pedal area. It's responsible for controlling the temperature mix (hot/cold), and it’s a pretty common failure point.

You’ll need to drop the lower dash panel and possibly move the gas pedal assembly (or at least unbolt it and swing it out of the way) to get better access. Before removing it, make sure the ignition is off and the battery's disconnected if you want to be extra cautious, since this actuator talks to the climate control module.
