You can usually find the year and model number of your old New Holland diesel tractor by checking a couple of key places:
- Model and Serial Number Plate – Look for a metal plate or stamped number on the frame, engine block, or transmission housing. Common locations include the left or right side of the engine block, the chassis near the front axle, or under the operator’s seat.
- Casting Codes and Stamped Numbers – Some tractors have date codes stamped into the engine block, transmission, or rear axle housing.
If you find a number but aren’t sure what it means, let us know, and we can help you track down the right manual for your tractor!
