Yeah, I’ve run into this before — if the dash lights come on but there’s no crank, it's usually an issue with the starter circuit, ignition switch, or neutral safety switch.
First thing I’d check is the starter relay and fuse in the power distribution center under the hood. If the relay clicks but the starter doesn’t turn, it might be the starter solenoid or the starter itself going bad. Try tapping the starter lightly with a wrench while someone turns the key — if it suddenly cranks, the starter’s on its way out.
If nothing at all happens when you turn the key, the ignition switch or neutral safety switch could be the issue. Try starting it in Neutral instead of Park — sometimes the gear position sensor doesn't register Park correctly.
Also make sure the battery is fully charged, even if the lights come on. These cars need decent voltage to engage the starter properly. And if it's turning over but not firing, that’s a different issue — fuel, spark, or crank sensor-related.
Indeed, there are many possibilities here for the culprit. Luckily, the manual has troubleshooting charts to narrow it down properly. It also contains step-by-step instructions, clear images, and exploded-view illustrations, making it super DIY friendly. So I strongly recommend grabbing one to really know what causes your Sebring to not start and fix it properly.
Good luck!
