Yes, Wranglers are relatively easy to fix, especially compared to more modern SUVs packed with electronics. Their simple, rugged design makes many repairs straightforward, particularly for suspension, drivetrain, and bodywork. Plus, the aftermarket support for Wranglers is huge, so parts and tutorials are widely available.
That said, some newer models, like those with advanced electronics or the 4xe hybrid drivetrain, can be more complex to work on. But for the classic off-road essentials, Wranglers are built to be repair-friendly. If you’ve got some basic tools and the service manual, most fixes are totally doable for a DIYer!
