As of 2024, Jeep still offers a manual transmission option for the Wrangler, but only on certain trims. Specifically, you can get a 6-speed manual with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine on base trims like the Sport and Willys models. It’s a favorite among off-roaders who appreciate the control and engagement a manual transmission provides on the trails.
However, higher-end trims and other engine options, like the 4xe plug-in hybrid or the 2.0L turbo, are automatic-only. If you’re a stick-shift fan, the Wrangler remains one of the few SUVs still keeping the manual alive!
