BMW is gradually phasing out manual transmissions, especially in many of their newer models. They’ve been moving toward automatic and dual-clutch systems, which are faster and more efficient. That said, some models, like certain M-series cars, still offer a manual option—for now—because of demand from enthusiasts who love the driving experience.
If you’re a fan of driving stick, it’s worth looking into current models while they’re still around.
