Removing the radiator cap on the Honda VFR750F is quite straightforward, but there are a few important things to keep in mind to avoid burns or coolant spills.
First, make sure the engine is completely cool before touching the cap! The cooling system is pressurized when hot, and opening it too soon can cause hot coolant to spray out.
On the VFR750F, the radiator cap is located on the right side of the bike, near the frame, just behind the front forks. To remove it, press down firmly on the cap while turning it counterclockwise about a quarter turn—this releases the first safety catch.
Wait a moment to allow any remaining pressure to escape, then press down again and continue turning counterclockwise until the cap comes off completely. If the cap feels stuck, don’t force it—double-check that the system is cool and try again with a firm, steady grip.
I hope you find this helpful and good luck!
