Yale has forklift manufacturing plants in Brazil, North Ireland, Italy, China, the Netherlands, the United States, and Japan, each making forklifts for their specific markets only.
Forklifts sold in North and South America are produced in Berea-Kentucky, Itu-Brazil, and Greenville-North Carolina, one of Yale's biggest factory at 440,000 square feet.
Yale forklifts intended for the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets are manufactured in Nijmegen-Netherlands, Masate-Italy, and Craigavon-North Ireland. The Nijmegen factory is one of Yale's oldest, opened in 1953. Yale opened the Masate factory in 1996, and it also serves as its development center.
Yale also has dedicated factories for the Asian market in Shanghai-China, Hangzhou-China, and Obu-Japan.
Besides complete manufacturing plants, Yale also owns part production and fabrication plants in Hanoi-Vietnam, Ramos Arizpe-Mexico. Another plant in Cavite-Philippines serves exclusively as a fabrication/welding facility.
Yale's presence is very much felt globally since it also has numerous engineering centers, warehouses, experience centers, commercial offices, and administration centers worldwide. Its revenue was over 3 billion dollars last year and is included in the Fortune 1000 index.
