That would really depend on what's broken...
The "anti-pollution" fault message is a generic one that covers virtually any fault with the engine electronics. It just means that the ECU has detected a problem and set a fault code in the memory — could be related to a faulty particulate filter in the exhaust, an aging battery, various faulty sensors, including the MAF, faulty fuel pressure regulator, etc...
To be able to pinpoint a more specific component, we'd need a bit more details about the vehicle and the conditions present when the problem occurs.
