Unfortunately, it's incredibly hard to troubleshoot issues online without being able to run tests of any sort. Still, if I had to work on your car in the shop, I would start by asking, "were the alternator and battery replaced because the battery light was coming on?"
If so, the initial problem might have been caused by something else instead — the ground connection might be faulty, or there might be a problem with the wiring. etc.
Luckily, you should be able to find every troubleshooting and replacement procedure you’ll need to fix the problem in this 2007 Kia Sportage Service & Repair Manual.
