It really depends on which "oil" you are talking about...
For your Lexus IS250 engine with the 4GR-FE engine, the manufacturer recommends SAE 5W-30 engine oil, providing good fuel economy and good
For the front differential, you'll need SAE90 API GL-5 gear oil above -18°C and SAE80W or SAE80W-90 below -18°C. The rear differential requires Toyota Genuine Differential Gear Oil LT 75W-85 GL-5 or equivalent.
If your IS250 is equipped with an automatic transmission, you'll need Toyota Genuine ATF WS, while the manual model needs SAE75W-90.
Clutch and brakes need regular Dot 3 brake fluid.
