Unfortunately, it's incredibly hard to troubleshoot issues online without being able to run tests of any sort and with so few details about the exact condition. There could be misfires, the fuel pump could have died, the alternator might be faulty, there could be an electrical short, the engine could have overheated and seized, etc, etc.
Luckily, you should be able to find every troubleshooting and replacement procedure you’ll need to fix the problem in this 1980-1995 Ford F-150 Service & Repair Manual.
