By "Master Brain," I would assume you are referring to the Powertrain Control Module, right?
If it's the case, whether it needs to be reprogrammed or not would actually depend on several factors, and as of now, we simply don't have enough information to be able to answer this question...
Is the replacement PCM new, used, or refurbished? Why was it replaced in the first place? If it's used, was it sourced from the exact same model year or a different one?
If it's a used PCM from another model year or a different variant, it might need to be reprogrammed. On the other hand, if it's a brand-new, application-based one, it should be plug-and-play and should work right away.
