The "radio code" you are referring to is an anti-theft code preventing the radio from being stolen... the code resets and needs to be re-entered after the battery has been disconnected...
Unfortunately, the radio code is different for each car so it simply can't be in the manual. The unique code for your specific vehicle is usually written on a card inserted inside the case or "pouch" containing the owner's manual and warranty information. It's usually placed in the glove box when you buy the vehicle new.
However, if you bought the car used, it's very likely that the previous owner might have taken it out of the glove box (leaving the anti-theft code in the car is never a good idea lol) and forgotten to give it with the rest of the vehicle's paper at the time of the sale.
If you can't find the code in your car, your only option is to give a quick call to your dealer.
