Yes, you are partly right.
However, the reason why this manual mentions "second-gen" but is limited to 2010-2012 models is that there was an update in 2012. Most of the information it contains could still work for your 2013 model but there might be minor differences... it really depends whether what you need to work on was part of the update or not...
