The vehicle can carry the weight of a usual diesel truck while only taking about 10 minutes to recharge, which is much faster than any comparable electric semi-trucks. Another advantage is the 250-miles (400 km) range, thanks to seven 350-bar tanks storing 32-kg of hydrogen.<\/p>\n<div style=\"color: #ef8b09;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Read more: Hyundai Forms New Horizons Studio to Develop Walking Vehicles<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Apart from the advanced powertrain, Hyundai\u2019s semi-truck has other hi-tech features, like the smartphone mirroring for the infotainment. The truck is big on safety as well \u2014 the FCA (Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist) protects from front collisions, the ESC system ensures stability in the corners. Also, the LDW warns the driver if he leaves the lane without a turn signal.<\/p>\n<p>Hyundai has already shipped seven units to Switzerland back in July and is expected to deliver 50 semi-trucks in Europe by the end of this year.
