After launching as a step-van-only model in 2024, the all-electric cargo van is now available in multiple body styles, and with a lower price tag, it\u2019s ready to take on competitors like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/cars\/ford.htm\">Ford<\/a> E-Transit and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/cars\/mercedes.htm\">Mercedes-Benz<\/a> eSprinter.<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest changes for 2025 is the addition of 12- and 13-foot cargo van models, giving buyers more flexibility beyond the step van configuration. The starting price for the cargo van is $58,490 (including destination fees), making it $21,500 cheaper than the 2024 step-van model, which originally launched at nearly $80,000. Even the step van itself has gotten a price cut, now starting at $71,990\u2014a drop of $8,000 compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p>Performance-wise, all versions of the ProMaster <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/americans-reluctant-to-buy-ev\" title=\"The Likelihood of Americans Buying an EV Is Now Lower Than Ever Amid Charging Anxiety\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"267\">EV<\/a> are powered by a 110-kWh battery, which delivers 164 miles of combined range and up to 180 miles in city driving. This puts it ahead of the Ford E-Transit\u2019s 159-mile range but behind the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter, which can reach up to 208 miles with its larger battery option. Both models share the same 159-inch extended wheelbase, offering plenty of cargo space for businesses.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/ram-ev-promises-500-miles-range\" title=\"The Next Ram EV Promises 500 Miles of Range with Advanced STLA Frame Platform\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"266\">Ram<\/a> has also added more standard features for 2025, making the ProMaster EV more competitive in the commercial van segment. The Safety &amp; Convenience Group is now included, bringing advanced safety features like <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/adaptive-cruise-control-what-is-it-and-how-does-it-work\" title=\"Adaptive Cruise Control: What is it and How Does it Work\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"268\">adaptive cruise control<\/a>, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and forward collision warning with emergency braking.
