It&#8217;s a one-of-a-kind machine that rivals supercars in performance and exclusivity.<\/p>\n<p>At its core, the Rocket GTS is a reimagined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/cars\/mercedes.htm\">Mercedes<\/a> SL63 S E Performance, but Brabus transformed it into something entirely new. The sleek, streamlined design features a custom-made carbon fiber body with a shooting brake silhouette\u2014a long roofline that leads to a wide, muscular rear end. Every curve and vent is designed for maximum aerodynamics, allowing the car to achieve impressive stability at high speeds. Brabus used wind-tunnel testing to ensure the design wasn\u2019t just eye-catching but also efficient, with a prominent front spoiler, wider fenders, side skirts, and a substantial rear diffuser. This new bodywork doesn\u2019t just add style; it gives the Rocket GTS the look and function of a high-performance wagon.<\/p>\n<p>Under the hood, Brabus didn\u2019t hold back. The Rocket GTS comes with a heavily modified version of the AMG SL63&#8217;s hybrid V8 powertrain. The engine has been upgraded from 4.0 to 4.4 liters, with Brabus tuning the twin-turbo setup to deliver 785 hp. Add the electric motor\u2019s 201 hp, and you\u2019re looking at a total of 986 hp and a stunning 1,195 lb-ft of torque. This power lets the Rocket GTS sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 197 mph. Brabus has hinted that it could go even faster if unrestricted. The exhaust is also designed with active valves, allowing the driver to control the noise depending on the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the Rocket GTS has Brabus\u2019s high-end touches all over. Black Alcantara and leather upholstery, quilted seats, and custom carbon fiber trim make the cabin as unique as the exterior. Blue ambient lighting and white contrast stitching add a bit of character, keeping things classy but in line with the car\u2019s bold personality. The fixed roof and shooting brake design allow for a 2+2 seating layout, making this one of the most practical SL models around. There\u2019s even more space in the rear for luggage, a feature rarely found in such high-performance cars.<\/p>\n<p>Brabus hasn\u2019t said how many of these Rocket GTS models it will make, or how much each one will cost. However, it\u2019s expected to carry a hefty price tag, especially given the amount of custom work and exclusive materials.
