A multi-million-dollar hypercar turning into a heap of charred metal has prompted Koenigsegg to take drastic safety measures.<\/p>\n

Koenigsegg has issued a warning to all Jesko owners following a dramatic fire incident in Greece that left one of its hypercars completely destroyed. The fiery ordeal occurred on June 15th during a road rally near the city of Marousi. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the car, a rare Jesko Attack \u201cN\u00fcr Edition,\u201d was reduced to a twisted mass of burnt metal.<\/p>\n

The car had been delivered to its owner just weeks before the incident and had only about 100 miles on the clock. The fire started shortly after the car left a hotel and quickly engulfed the vehicle. Despite the efforts to extinguish the flames, the Jesko was a total loss, with only the wheels and part of the rear structure still recognizable.<\/p>\n

Koenigsegg<\/a> has taken swift action in response to this incident. The company sent a message to the 28 Jesko owners worldwide, advising them to stop driving their cars until the cause of the fire is determined. \u201cOut of an abundance of caution, we ask all Jesko owners and drivers to hold off on driving their cars until we have had a chance to understand the situation better,\u201d the message reportedly stated.<\/p>\n
