There, the Owl showed that it is capable of a 0-60 mph sprint of only 1.72 seconds. That time not only beats the current crop of electric hypercars but could also compete for the fastest time for an electric vehicle!<\/p>\n<p>For instance, the current quickest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/tesla\/\">Tesla<\/a> Model S is 0.6 seconds slower to 60mph. Skim the cream, as some would say.<\/p>\n<p>Want to talk about product differentiation? Do 1985 HP and 1475 lb-ft of torque from four electric motors sound outstanding enough? If you do the math, that&#8217;s twice as powerful as that a Formula 1 car.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the battery pack of the Aspark Owl doesn&#8217;t seem that impressive, though. It has a limited capacity of 64kWh, which is much lower than competing hypercars. Aspark promises a range of 280-miles, but I doubt it will reach anywhere near that number, especially on the track. A recent track test performed by Tesla clearly showed that while electric hypercars can go surprisingly fast a circuit, their battery-range seems to go down just as quickly.<\/p>\n<p>However, a smaller battery pack also means that the Owl is lighter than other hypercars. At 1900 kg, it&#8217;s certainly not the lightest, but it&#8217;s still a lighter EVs than others featuring larger batteries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a great honor for Aspark to be the first to announce this achievement, reached in record time. When we first announced this project, no one believed it could have been done: it is true that we do not have a long history, but we are now completing what is the first Japanese electric hypercar,&#8221;
