This electric juggernaut, once hailed as a game-changer in the EV world, is now facing some serious backlash for its underwhelming performance in real-world conditions.<\/p>\n<p>In a test conducted by Out of Spec Studios, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/cybertruck\/\">Cybertruck<\/a>, specifically the All-Wheel-Drive version, was put through its paces on a Texas highway. The result? A meager 254 miles on a full charge, cruising at 70 mph. That&#8217;s a far cry from the promised 320 miles by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/cars\/tesla.htm\">Tesla<\/a>. Mechanics and tech-savvy folks know that factors like temperature, tire size, and weight load play a big role in EV efficiency. But a drop to 254 miles? Every mechanic knows that cold temps are the Achilles&#8217; heel of EVs, draining batteries faster than a leaky oil pan. But Tesla&#8217;s been bragging about their heat pump system, which supposedly mitigates these cold-weather issues. Well, it seems like that pump might need some reworking.<\/p>\n<p>And those tires \u2013 35 inches of range-sucking rubber. Sure, they look cool and might handle off-road terrain like a champ, but they&#8217;re also notorious for guzzling battery life. Tesla&#8217;s engineers should&#8217;ve seen this coming from a mile away.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Tesla&#8217;s trying to slap on a Band-Aid with their Range Extender, a bulky addition that&#8217;ll eat up a third of the Cybertruck&#8217;s bed. It&#8217;s set to hit the market by the end of the year, but frankly, it feels like a desperate move to patch up a sinking ship.<\/p>\n<p>Bottom line is, Tesla&#8217;s overpromising and underdelivering, yet again. Many were expecting a powerhouse that could go the distance, but what we got is a truck that barely scratches the surface of its claimed range.
