However, as surprising as it may seem, muscle cars and US-made supercars are really all the hype in Japan. I guess it&#8217;s safe to assume that, just as JDM vehicles have always been appreciated for their exotic-touch in America, the reverse is just as valid.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Consequently, it&#8217;s only natural for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/category\/news\/news-by-brand\/chevrolet\/\">Chevrolet<\/a> to be eyeing the European and Asian markets, which were pretty much left untouched until now. According to Chevrolet, the manufacturer is determined to deliver a high-quality product in the UK, Japan, and Australian markets soon. In fact, the project is already underway, and a couple of Corvette RHD models have already been produced.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This announcement comes at a time when General Motors discontinued its Holden model \u2014 an icon, especially in the Australian market. Talk about pushing forth in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">As per information provided by CorvetteBlogger, Chevy&#8217;s Chief Engineer, Tadge Juechtar, and their Product Manager, Harlan Charles, have made it crystal clear that a RHD <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/cars\/chevrolet\/corvette.htm\">Corvette<\/a> was not a myth. They are in the safe hands of their engineering team responsible for testing and inspecting the vehicles.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Interestingly, Tadge mentioned that, even for them, it&#8217;s becoming a bit difficult to test a car where the steering wheel is on the right side of the vehicle. He has time and again stressed that even people living in countries where they drive on the other side of the road shouldn&#8217;t be left out. Their entire production process is being undertaken with the focus of ensuring driver ease and comfort, and they refuse to do away with specific features that might just jeopardize this experience.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">RHD Corvettes were first released in Japan, where it took only a swift 60 hours to sell more than 300 units. Now that is super impressive if you ask me.
