The snow-camo livery will accompany Ken Block’s oldest daughter through the ARA 2023 rally.<\/p>\n

Lia Block, famous rally driver Ken Block<\/a>‘s daughter, will participate in the 2023 American Rally Association (ARA) season. Interestingly, she’ll be using a Subaru<\/a> BRZ wrapped in a livery paying tribute to her recently-deceased father.<\/p>\n

The snow-camo livery looks quite nice, with a color combination of white, gray, and gold \u2014 mimicking her father’s first livery when he was his legendary Subaru WRX<\/a> STI back in 2005. Interestingly, the livery aged pretty well and doesn’t look one bit outdated compared to other 2023 rally liveries.<\/p>\n

That said, the BRZ is not only equipped with cool stickers, though \u2014 it also received some serious modifications for proper point-to-point rallying. While it may look pretty stock judging from the pictures posted on her Instagram account<\/a>, it’s got a roof scoop, a custom spoiler and rear bumper, a roll cage, bucket seats, and pretty sick-looking gold wheels \u2014 which we don’t doubt she’ll swap for rally-spec wheels for the competition.<\/p>\n

It’s not the first time Lia will be driving a car at high speed, though. Indeed, she started rallying when she was only 15 years old, which is not a small feat, even when considering that her dad is a straight-up legend off the beaten path. At this point, she has clearly shown her dedication to the sport, with Block fully supporting her in following in his footsteps as a professional driver until the very last moment.<\/p>\n

In fact, she already competed in various racing events such as the ARA Nation Championship, UMC Kart Championship, and HoonicornVsWorld2. Even outside motorsports events, Lia actively shares her passion for fast vehicles, especially on her social media accounts.<\/p>\n

Ken Block’s eldest daughter wrote in an Instagram post<\/a> that this year would understandably be pretty difficult to deal with, but she is also very happy to be able to do what she and her dad love. “Excited to also be switching to this RWD Subaru BRZ this year to race the @ara_rally Championship.” she posted.<\/p>\n

Lia’s participation in the ARA 2023 event received much support and positive comments, including from several of Ken Block’s close colleagues. Furthermore, Alex Gelmonso, Ken Block’s ex-navigator, will also accompany Lia and guide her from the passenger seat. Hence despite being Lia’s first year competing in a RWD car, we’re confident she’ll be in good hands.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Subaru BRZ has been praised for its excellent handling and balance, making it a popular choice for many motorsports events, including rallying. And we can’t wait to see Lia Block driving the snow-camo-wrapped coupe in 2023 ARA, just like her dad’s first rally appearance 18 years ago.<\/p>\n
