Inexplicably beautiful and rare, it remains one of the brand\u2019s most prestigious productions. Debuted at the 1959 Paris Motor Show, the 250 GT Berlinetta SWB immediately caught attention with its sweeping curves and long nose. The sheer beauty of the car has tempted many restoration houses to reimagine the classic. The company has released a digital concept form of the reimagined vehicle, but the detailing and specs are quite artfully explained.<\/p>\n<p>The two main attractions are the lighter body and the hydrogen-powered V12 engine. Forge Design has opted for carbon fiber and aluminum for the chassis to lower the weight \u2014 changes include wider wheel arches and vented fenders. Moreover, the restorer replaced the rear glass with polycarbonate to further reduce the weight.<\/p>\n<p>The car also features LED headlights and taillights for better illumination while adding a modern flair. Forge Design managed to keep its creation recognizable while adding a unique sporty flair.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the company kept the 250 GT Berlinetta SWB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/restomod\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">restomod <\/a>will use (probably the original) V12 engine, sitting under the long bonnet. Forge Design hasn\u2019t disclosed what technology it used to make it run on hydrogen, but it said there are new cylinder heads and high-lift camshafts. The original made 240 hp, but we expect a sizeable increase for the restomod. Meanwhile, thanks to the use of hydrogen, the tailpipe emissions will be much cleaner.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Forge Design\u2019s magnificent creation is only a render for now, and we will probably need to wait a bit longer to see the finished version.<\/p>\n<h2>Gallery: Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB &#8220;Competizione Ventidue&#8221;
