The 2023 300C is Chrysler’s last internal combustion muscle sedan, packing a 485-HP HEMI V8 and amped-up braking and suspension components.<\/p>\n

The 2023 Chrysler 300C<\/a> will return one last time as a muscle car for the 2023 model year; having been in production for nearly twenty years, it makes a flourishing entry with all 2000 limited edition units already sold out. Not only that, but all the units were booked within half a day. What a return!<\/p>\n

The first ever Chrysler<\/a> 300 in 1955 also featured a V8. Now, the star of the show is the latest 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that might soon become non-existent, which makes the 300C even more desirable. The powertrain produces 485 hp and 475 pound-feet of torque \u2014 not Hellcat numbers, but still very respectable for a sedan that’s older than two decades.<\/p>\n

Besides, Chrysler said its Hellcat engines are tough to build, and there weren’t enough engine units for 300C’s production. It makes sense, given that Dodge has recently been getting busy with the Hellcats, including the Durango and Ram TRX.<\/p>\n

Chrysler opted for an eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends the power to the rear wheels. The 300C can reach 160 mph and make the 0-60 mph sprint in 4.3 seconds.<\/p>\n

But Chrysler also made sure the other components were up to snuff. The 2023 300C features Brembo four-piston performance brakes, active suspension, a 3.09 limited-slip differential, and even an active exhaust for better sound. The 2023 300C also sits on massive 20-inch wheels, which perfectly fit the wheel’s arches.<\/p>\n

A new catchy logo decorates the front grille, reminiscent of the tri-color symbol used for the 300C back in the 1950s. Moreover, the 2023 300C looks more aggressive and sportier, with black bezels around the headlights and taillights.<\/p>\n

Chrysler offers the 2023 300C in three colors \u2014 Gloss Black, Bright White, and Velvet Red, and all three are sold out. Usually, performance sedans come in more exotic colors, but the 300C plays the safe card here.<\/p>\n

Chrysler also didn’t think the interior needed changing \u2014 it’s the same decade-old design from the old model, which looks bland next to any new car. The technology is also dated \u2014 apart from the 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo, the infotainment and the instrument cluster look two generations old. Still, Chrysler tried to spice things up with heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and contrasting white stitching.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer’s retail suggested price (MRSP) for the 2023 300C is $56,595, with destination included. With the model being discontinued at the end of next year, collectors went crazy, and Chrysler already sold all 2,000 US and 200 Canadian units it planned to produce.<\/p>\n
