Fast forward to recent times, and the bunny still lures crowds at SEMA. The latest car to receive the same treatment is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/toyota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toyota<\/a> GR 86, the direct replacement of the Scion FRS (Toyota 86).<\/p>\n<p>As with any TKA Kyoto build, the process starts with scanning the entire surface of the car\u2019s exterior using a laser. Then, Kei and his team design the elements using CAD to ensure that the proportions are bang on. However, unlike other more subtle tuners, TKA Kyoto doesn\u2019t hesitate to go hard. The Rocket Bunny <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/gr-86\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GR 86<\/a> seems to have a dual personality, but certainly not in a bad way \u2013 the result is quite eye-catching.<\/p>\n<p>The Rocket Bunny GR 86 features wide and low-mounted front bumpers, a large chamber for cooling, bumper canards, and an open slot near the left headlight. The theme carries over to the sides with squared-off fender flares contrasting with drag radials for quite a stance. Furthermore, smoked-out black elements join the fenders and also connect it to the super-low side skirts, with flares wild enough to rival modern F1 cars!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38896 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Rocket-Bunny_GR-86-6.jpg\" alt=\"Rocket Bunny Toyota GR 86\" width=\"900\" height=\"518\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Rocket-Bunny_GR-86-6.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Rocket-Bunny_GR-86-6-300x173.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Rocket-Bunny_GR-86-6-768x442.jpg 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/518;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Similarly, TRA Kyoto has bolted the squared-off wheel arches, further enhancing the drift car style. Interestingly, the back end was retained as per the original spec, except for a subdued rear spoiler and under-the-exhaust elements resembling a diffuser. Still, it\u2019s enough to finish off the rear end in style.<\/p>\n<p>The entire packages blend in with a fairly respectable powertrain setup featuring a 2.4-liter straight-four engine that pumps out 228 horses and 184 lb-ft of torque. However, the Rocket Bunny GR 86 features enough vents for an added supercharger or turbocharger, significantly increasing those numbers.<\/p>\n<p>All things considered, there\u2019s no denying the scale of how rad the Rocket Bunny GR 86 kit looks.
