VW finally unveiled the 2021 Polo GTI subcompact hatchback, with well-thought-out, GTI-worthy styling updates, ample standard equipment for its class, and power setting it apart from standard facelifted Polo models.<\/p>\n

The 2021 VW Polo GTI carries the refreshed design of the recently launched facelift, as well as style cues from the MK8 Golf GTI. For instance, the hatchback receives newly designed headlights that come standard with IQ.Light LED matrix technology. An LED light strip now spans the width of the radiator front grille to connect the headlamps, reminiscent of the electric ID. models and the new generations of Golf, Tiguan, and Arteon. Volkswagen also dropped the standard model’s vertical slats on the grille in favor of a honeycomb mesh pattern and incorporated hexagonal LED DRLs on both sides.<\/p>\n

The rear end looks even more attractive, thanks to the redesigned taillights with dynamic turn signals and brake light animation and a GTI-specific bumper with round dual exhaust tips. Of course, the car is adorned with characteristic GTI<\/a> features\u2014a continuous red trim above the DRL strip, red GTI emblems on the front grille and rear hatch, and red brake calipers sitting behind standard 17-inch or optional 18-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, there are now five colors to choose from Deep Black Pearl Effect, Smoke Grey Metallic, Kings Red Metallic, Pure White Uni, and Reef Blue Metallic. Customers can also combine the last three colors with an optional contrasting black roof.<\/p>\n
