Toyota launches the new Mirai and Lexus LS with Advance Drive, a level 2 driver assistance system.<\/p>\n

As the competition for self-driving and connected cars increases, leading automakers have already started heavily investing in tech-based safety features. In the hope of staying on top, Toyota comes up with 2 new models that are more than just cars interacting with drivers almost like friends, making the driving experience safer and a lot more convenient.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, instead of taking over control from the driver, the new self-driving software allows the car to coordinate with the driver enabling them to communicate with each other for mutual assistance. The Advanced Drive AI would let the driver have complete control over the car, only switching over to autopilot when needed, thus offering a truly safe and secure driving experience.<\/p>\n
