Four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel put up eight of his prized cars for sale, including a rare Ferrari Enzo.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly for a racing champion, Sebastian Vettel is known for his deep passion for cars and motorsports, reflected in his personal car collection. He also houses an incredible collection of a few F1 classic cars, including the iconic McLaren of Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell’s 1992 F1 world title-winning Williams.<\/p>\n

During the 2020 Formula 1 season, Vettel<\/a> expressed his desire to add the legendary Ferrari F2004 driven by Michael Schumacher to the collection, but he held off due to its commanding price. He might just be able to buy one with the garage being cleared away with the help of supercar dealer Tom Hartley Jr.<\/p>\n

Vettel\u2019s spokesperson only mentioned that the cars were confirmed for sale and revealed no further details. His team\u2019s spokesperson also echoed the same views saying, \u201cWe have no knowledge of Sebastian’s plans with regard to his car collection and have made no stipulations or requests of any kind in connection with it.”<\/p>\n

All cars on sale were kept in almost pristine condition with very few miles logged on the odometer.<\/p>\n

2016 Ferrari LaFerrari<\/h2>\n

\"2016<\/a><\/p>\n

This hypercar was one of three Ferraris bought by Vettel when he was still pretty new to the team. The LaFerrari is a car that shares a spot among the famous Holy Trinity of hybrid hypercars, including McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. It features a 6.3-liter V12 paired with an electric motor producing a staggering 950 horses, Vettel\u2019s logo on the seats, and has only clocked 304 miles. Unfortunately, this one is already sold.<\/p>\n

2004 Ferrari Enzo<\/h2>\n

\"2004<\/a><\/p>\n

One of only 400 Enzos ever produced, it is one of the rarest modern Ferraris money can buy. It has a 6-liter V12 engine with a semi-automatic gearbox derived from F1 and cranked out 660 hp. What made this particular one special is that it carries Ferrari ‘Red Book’ Classiche certification, meaning that it still retains its original chassis, body, engine, and gearbox. Being only 1112 miles old, it was still a relatively new car. Supercar dealer Tom Hartley Jr. said that this car is \u201cthe very finest example offered for sale anywhere.”<\/p>\n

1996 Ferrari F50<\/h2>\n

\"1996<\/a><\/p>\n

Vettel bought this masterpiece for his collection from a Danish collector when he first joined the team in 2015. The F50 has a 4.7-liter V12 engine producing 520 hp. This powerhouse was derived from the golden era of F1 in the 1990s, and this particular example had an excellent service history along with Ferrari\u2019s Red Classiche certification. Moreover, it retained all the original documentation of the car along with stock accessories. Despite being over 25 years old, the car only covered 4312 miles, making it a hotly contested proposition among collectors.<\/p>\n

2016 Ferrari F12 TDF<\/h2>\n

\"2016<\/a><\/p>\n

Seb took possession of a bright yellow F12TDF in his second year at Ferrari, with a unique ‘Giallo triplo strato’ triple-layer paint on carbon fiber seats, along with a Vettel logo on the seat headrests. The F12 TDF is powered by a 730-horsepower 6.3-liter V12, and Vettel only logged\u00a0 738 miles on his TDF, while the car’s service history suggests that it has hardly ever been used.<\/p>\n

2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale<\/h2>\n

\"2015<\/a><\/p>\n

The 458 Speciale was the first Ferrari that the German specifically ordered from his team. It came in with a distinctive metallic black color with gold fleck paint, racing stripes, and Vettel’s logo embroidered on the carbon fiber seat headrests. The Speciale came with a 4.5-liter V8 engine and has only clocked 1905 miles since he purchased it.<\/p>\n

2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series<\/h2>\n

The SL65 Black Series was given to Vettel when he won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for Red Bull back in 2009. Only 350 examples of these were ever made, and it featured several changes to the exterior bodywork and liberal use of carbon fiber. The Black Series is powered by a six-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 670 hp. Only 1752 miles were logged under Vettel\u2019s possession.<\/p>\n

2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG<\/h2>\n

The SLS was F1\u2019s official safety car during the 2010-2012 seasons. It was also the first car fully built AMG. Vettel grew so fond of it that he ordered this example for his collection while still a Red Bull driver, and it came with the ultimate spec. It has a heart-throbbing 6.3-liter V8 engine, and it only ran for 4305 miles.<\/p>\n

2002 BMW Z8 Roadster<\/h2>\n

\"2002<\/a><\/p>\n

Although Vettel started off with BMW Sauber in his F1 debut, he bought the two-seater Z8 from the USA only in 2015, during his first stint as a Ferrari driver. Once he imported it to Switzerland, it was sent to BMW Classic for refurbishment and conversion from American to European-spec. The 2002 Z8 Roadster took inspiration from the BMW 507 and was seen in the Bond film \u2018The World is Not Enough.\u2019 Only 1,895 examples were made with a unique \u2018Titan-Silver Metallic\u2019 paint scheme. The car was powered by a 5-liter V8 engine, and it only ran for 13,494 miles.<\/p>\n
