Notably, the company brings back the little Ruckus, Metropolitan, and the PCX. Although the Ruckus and the Metropolitan will be available by 2022, the latest PCX will slot into Honda&#8217;s 2021 lineup and drop the \u2018150\u2019 tag.<\/p>\n<p>Honda justifies the PCX\u2019s rebranding with the larger and more fuel-efficient engine. Since its launch in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US<\/a> as the PCX125 back in 2009, the scooter received numerous engine updates. Thus, the newest 2021 PCX will feature a 156.9cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder FI engine that Honda says is \u2018free-way capable,\u2019 while remaining \u201csmooth, quiet and extremely efficient.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2021-Honda-PCX-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21379 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2021-Honda-PCX-2.jpg\" alt=\"2021 Honda PCX\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2021-Honda-PCX-2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2021-Honda-PCX-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2021-Honda-PCX-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2021-Honda-PCX-2-768x432.jpg 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1200px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1200\/675;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the 2021 PCX is also lighter, thanks to a revamped dual-cradle frame. Honda also promises improved riding comfort and better cornering ability. Meanwhile, the scooter packs a large under-seat storage compartment of 30.4 liters, which can even accommodate a full-face helmet.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Honda didn\u2019t stop the upgrades with the engine and frame. Indeed, the 2021 PCX now features 13-inch wheels on the front and back, dropping the 14-inch wheels. Other notable features include a Traction Control system, fully-digital LCD instrument cluster, all-LED lighting system, 12-volt USB-C charging port, and remote smart key.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWith the introduction of the all-new PCX and the return of our stylish 50cc scooters, there\u2019s something for every commute and around-town ride,\u201d said Lee Edmunds, Senior Manager of Powersports Marketing for American Honda.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Even though it&#8217;s been thoroughly improved, the good news is that the 2021 PCX is just $100 pricier than its predecessor. The base variant will start at $3799, while the PCX ABS will set you back $200 more.
