However, the last months of 2021 might be a bit brighter for Hyundai enthusiasts as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/korea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Korean<\/a> carmaker will finally unveil its all-new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/tucson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tucson<\/a>\u00a0in the US on November 9.<\/p>\n<p>The premiere event will take place in West Hollywood, California. However, due to the pandemic, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/hyundai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hyundai<\/a> prepared a virtual online event. The manufacturer teased the Tucson fairly long, which certainly built anticipation, with the most revealing images only revealed recently.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11294 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2022-Hyundai-Tucson-US-spec-in-post.jpg\" alt=\"2022 Hyundai Tucson US-spec \" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2022-Hyundai-Tucson-US-spec-in-post.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2022-Hyundai-Tucson-US-spec-in-post-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2022-Hyundai-Tucson-US-spec-in-post-768x512.jpg 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 800px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 800\/533;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Upon close inspection, the North-American model looks similar to the model already on sale in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Europe<\/a> and Korea. Not that this is a bad thing \u2013 the Tucson over there is quite the stunner.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 Tucson should arrive in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US<\/a> with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 187 bhp and 182 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai will also offer a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/hybrid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hybrid<\/a> turbocharged 1.6-liter powertrain producing 227 bhp or 258 b-ft of torque.<\/p>\n<p>Now it will be interesting to see whether Hyundai will launch the Tucson in America with multiple wheelbase options. With that being said, we wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if the North American market would only get the extended wheelbase option since US customers prefer larger vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>On paper, the 2022 Tucson is a stylish crossover with reasonably powerful engines.
