The BRZ model that initially appeared in 2012 will again be launched alongside Toyota\u2019s 86, although no information was given about the Toyota and its launch date yet.<\/p>\n<p>Subaru teased the BRZ with a short video, with a few split-second frames of the car\u2019s front headlight. The C-shaped design implies a less aggressive and smoother front end design, although the sculpted hood and cool-looking front vents could suggest some muscle to the car&#8217;s front. According to lucky attendees of the Subiefest held last month, they are real vents, which is very unusual for a Japanese sports car that doesn\u2019t produce as much power as some hypercars also featuring functional fender vents. The car&#8217;s overall look is very reminiscent of the current-gen Toyota Supra, with the inclusion of a ducktail-styled spoiler integrated with the boot lid and angled taillights.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of performance, the BRZ is expected to feature either a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four engine with around 217 horsepower or a turbocharged unit with close to 260 horsepower. Also, the BRZ is expected to retain a traditional manual transmission, which is good news for true car enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 BRZ is expected to launch in two weeks and arrive on US shores in the second half of 2021.
