This time, inspiration appears to be taken from the Porsche Cayenne Coupe.<\/p>\n<p>The similarities are wide-ranging, with the most obvious being the side profile and the rear end \u2014 the taillights and how they converge on the tailgate bear a striking resemblance to the SUV from Stuttgart. The Uni-K even measures nearly the same as the Cayenne, sitting at 4,865 mm in length, 1,948 mm wide, and 1,700 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,890 mm, compared to 2,895 mm for the Cayenne.<\/p>\n<p>At the front, though, the Changan Uni-K seems to take inspiration from the Vision V, a concept study released at the Beijing Auto Show and features sleek design LED headlights, Y-shaped fog lamps, and a futuristic grille design. It also comes equipped with door handles that pop-out on activation, similar to those used by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/tesla\/\">Tesla<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10670 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2021-Changan-Uni-K-in-post.jpg\" alt=\"2021 Changan Uni-K\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2021-Changan-Uni-K-in-post.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2021-Changan-Uni-K-in-post-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2021-Changan-Uni-K-in-post-768x432.jpg 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 800px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 800\/450;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, the body&#8217;s aesthetic design and aggressiveness are let down by the arguably impotent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing around 230 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four 21-inch alloy wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. For comparison, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanualonline.com\/blog\/tag\/porsche\/\">Porsche<\/a> Cayenne Coupe\u2019s base model is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that is good for 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft.<\/p>\n<p>The Uni-K is the second offering in Changan&#8217;s Uni series after the Uni-T and costs around $27,000 (base model Cayenne Coupe starts at $76,500).
