The Ducati Streetfighter was designed by Damien Basset. He is a member of the Ducati design team. This motorcycle was sold in three different variations. There was the Streetfighter 1099 that was sold from 2009 to 2011, the Streetfighter S 1099 that was sold from 2009 to 2012, and the Streetfighter 848 that was sold from 2011 until 2015.
The engine inside the Streetfighter is a 1099 cc, 90 degree V-twin, DOHC design. It had 8 valves. The transmission was a multi-plate clutch with a 6-speed gearbox.
