The Ducati Multistrada is a family of V-twin motorcycles. They are a series of what are called street trailies, which means that the Multistrada is a hybrid design of a supermoto bike and sport style touring motorcycle. The Ducati Multistrada was first introduced to the market in 2003 and is currently still being manufactured. The concept was designed by Pierre Terblanche. The first Multistrada released contained a 1000 cc engine. In 2005 there was a smaller 620 cc model was released. That year the motorcycle also received a new kickstand design. This was due to a flaw in design that made the bike prone to falling over. It also got new seats with more padding to make it more comfortable.

Over the years there many different Multistrada models released. In 2007 the 620 model was dropped and an 1100 cc model was added. In 2008 the motorcycle received some minor changes. The graphics were updated and an auto timer for the lights were installed. In 2010 the Multistrada 1200 was revealed. In 2011 there were a couple of Multistrada models available. There was the 1100 and 1100S models.

Currently, 2019, there are seven different Ducati Multistrada motorcycles available for sale. There is the 950, 950 S, 1260, 1260 S, 1260 D Air, 1260 Pikes Peak, and the 1260 Enduro. The 950 offers 113 horsepower and the Ducati Safety Pack which includes ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Vehicle Hold Control, Power Modes, and Riding Modes. The 950 S offers a new spoked wheel design, full LED headlight, a 5 inch color screen display, and cruise control. The 1260 offers Ducati Wheelie Control, and 158 horsepower. The 1260 S offers the Ducati Multimedia System, anti-theft system, and the Ducati Skyhook Suspension system. The 1260 Pikes Peak comes with a carbon fiber front mudguard, carbon fiber windshield, Ohlins suspension, and carbon fiber air intake covers. The 1260 Enduro offers up/down Ducati quick shift, 158 horsepower, and its own unique colors.
