Derbi is a motorcycle manufacturer based in Spain. The company was first founded by Simeon Rabasa Singla. The company produces motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, and all-terrain vehicles. Derbi first started out as a bicycle workshop in a town near Barcelona in 1922. After several years, in 1944 the company moved toward manufacturing motorcycles. After a couple of years, in 1946 they came out with their first actual motorized vehicle.
Derbi produced several popular motorcycles over the years. There was the Variant which came in several different trim levels, SL, SLE, TT, and Sport.
