The Seat Exeo is one of the brand’s iconic vehicles despite not being named after a Spanish city like most other models are. Exeos are an excellent Spanish-made family car known for exceptional performance and reliability. They are an excellent combination of smooth handling and luxurious appeal, something you’ll want to preserve with a Seat Exeo workshop manual! Workshop manuals are highly-detailed, including anything you’d need to know for any repair or service needs on your vehicle!
The Exeo is remembered for being similar to the Audi A4 during the B7 era, which it is actually nearly identical to except for stylistic differences. It was sold between 2008 and 2013, lasting only a single generation of production. It was available in either a standard saloon body, or an estate wagon known as the Exeo ST.
Although the Exeo was only produced for 6 years, there were a fair bit of variety when it came to engine choice. The Exeo had a choice between a petrol or diesel engine, and initially that was between a turbocharged 1.8L four-cylinder petrol, or a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel. Both engines were available only with a 6-speed manual transmission that allowed for a 0-60 MPH time of just over 9 seconds.
Between 2008 and 2010, there were several new engine options available. Most notably, the strongest petrol was a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine capable of 0-60 MPH in just over 7 seconds, while the diesel engine with the most power was a 2.0L four-cylinder that could reach 60 MPH in just under 8.5 seconds.
They also offered engines with less power, providing superior fuel economy in exchange. This includes a 1.6L four-cylinder petrol and a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel. For comparison, the slowest petrol requires more than 12.5 seconds to reach 60 MPH, while the slowest petrol takes 10.5 to do the same.
Although the Exeo ceased production in 2013, successful elements of the model still exist in current Seat models. The standard saloon body can now be found in the Seat Toledo lineup, while the estate wagon body can be found in the Seat Leon ST lineup.
Although an Exeo is essentially an Audi A4, it still manages to infuse the style and appeal of Spanish manufacturing. The Exeo is an award-winning vehicle that offers an exceptionally smooth driving experience, which you’ll understand fully well if you own one! There isn’t a better way to keep your Exeo in running shape than by using a Seat Exeo service manual for regular maintenance needs!
