Renault is a French automobile manufacturing company that began in 1899 and is known for itís successful motor sports program and contributions to race car development. The Renault Fluence is a mid-size sedan that was produced until 2016 in most markets. The Fluence was introduced in 2009 and shares technology through the Renault-Nissan alliance. These Renault Fluence workshop manuals are the same as those used by mechanics trained by Renault to service these vehicles and provide owners an unprecedented amount of technical information about the Renault Fluence.
Initially offered with two variations of Renaultís petrol engines, the Fluence is no slouch in terms of performance or fuel economy. Some markets received an optional diesel engine for economy, and buyers in Brazil and Argentina had a GT option starting in 2012 that introduced a turbocharged 2.0L engine capable of 177 horsepower.
As a midsize sedan, the Renault Fluence filled a niche market in many of the countries the French country regularly builds and exports vehicles to, including Russia, South America and Asia, where the vehicle is badged as a Renault Samsung. In 2016, Renault announced that most markets would receive a new vehicle, the Megane III, to replace the Fluence.
Renault chose the Fluence as one of itís primary vehicles for testing and production of electric technology. The Fluence Z.E. features an electric motor that provides 99 miles range in electric-only mode and uses a 22 kW battery pack. The Fluence Z.E. is sold in Israel and Europe. The Z.E. uses battery swap technology developed by Better Place of Israel, which allows the battery to be swapped out in minutes. QuickCharge technology allows an 80 percent charge in 20 minutes and can be recharged fully in 4 to 8 hours using a 230 volt charger.
Owners find the Renault Fluence to be an easy to maintain vehicle when using a Renault Fluence repair manual that describes the procedures required to disassemble, inspect and replace worn or damaged components easily. Even the totally modern Z.E. model is easily serviced by the do-it-yourself mechanic using these highly-detailed, professional Renault Fluence repair manuals.
