While Mazda was once traditionally known for its production of compact vehicles, the CX-7 was a popular choice among many. This midsize crossover SUV provided buyers with the reliability that Mazda is known for as well as additional space that most Mazda enthusiasts werenít used to in the past. Just like with any other vehicle, Mazda CX-7ís too experience a need for repairs, and thankfully, with the help of a Mazda CX-7 repair manual, those problems can be addressed in no time. Owners and technicians still find these repair manuals to be quite useful.

Unveiled at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show, the CX-7 is a midsize crossover SUV manufactured by Mazda from 2007 until 2012. The CX-7 was Mazdaís first midsize SUV since ending production of the Navajo in 1994. At its time of production, the CX-7 was positioned between the compact Tribute/CX-5 and the full-size CX-9.

Power for the CX-7 was delivered through three available engines which was seen as quite an advantage among potential buyers. Two gas engines were offered one naturally aspirated 2.5L and a turbocharged 2.3L. The diesel variant was a 2.3L. The engine was coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. In addition to the standard fully independent suspension, both a traction control system and electronic stability control system were standard for the CX-7. Both front wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems were available for the CX-7.

In 2010, an updated CX-7 was unveiled at the Canadian International Auto Show. Interior upgrades included a 4-inch infotainment display screen and Bluetooth connectivity which were again, seen as game changers within the automotive world. On the exterior, the new CX-7 adopted styling cues from other Mazda models including the RX-8 and Mazda3. The introduction of a blind spot monitoring system helped improve overall safety, as well.

Although only in production for a total of 6 years, the Mazda CX-7 provided a crossover between that small compact vehicle that Mazda was known for and the larger Mazda CX-9 that changed the brand. The CX-7 was one of the first midsize SUVís that the automotive world had a chance to see and buy. Its popularity speaks to the Mazda corporation.

Through the use of Mazda CX-7 service manuals, both owners and technicians of this midsized SUV can perform routine maintenance so that their vehicles remain to provide the reliability that Mazda is known for.
