The CitroŽn DS3 is a supermini street car thatís been on the market since 2009 unofficially, and 2010 internationally. Itís known for its high satisfaction scores in the UK, having won #1 Supermini four years in a row. If this popular street car has a place in your garage, a CitroŽn DS3 workshop manual can help you learn the ins and outs of its operation and maintenance.

The ďDSĒ moniker is pronounced ďdťesseĒ, which means ďgoddessĒ in the car manufacturerís native France. Appropriately, the DS3 is marked by its voluptuous curves, a true goddess among supermini models in the early 2000s and beyond.

A year after its release, the DS3 received a full overhaul, complete with a new limited-time only version featuring exclusive color and decal choices, including the one-of-a-kind Hickory dark brown shade that CitroŽn released on certain supermini models after 2011 (including the DS3ís successor, the DS4).

Consumers love the DS3 because of the sheer amount of customization available. Drivers can choose their own body and roof colors from a range of ten colors (including Hickory), and they can even choose from a range of decal configurations to get just the right look. Indeed, the DS3 is a top contender among supermini drivers who want a certain aesthetic.

In 2014, CitroŽn revamped the DS3 yet again, this time upgrading the hardware instead of the customization options. The new-generation DS3 offers a new BlueHDi diesel engine, which boasts lower emissions at just 79g/km. Other changes included new Xenon LED headlights for better visibility, and more efficient operation.

Racing viewers in Geneva may have spotted the DS3 Racing model at the 2010 Motor Show. This version boasts a 207 horsepower, 154 kW engine that can go from zero to 62 miles per hour in less than seven seconds, reaching top speeds of nearly 150 miles per hour. It was made available in two color choices: white with grey trim, or black with orange trim, with trim being the roof, wheels, and interior area. Over 2,400 of them were built after a production announcement by CitroŽn in 2011.

2016 saw multiple new versions of the model: a DS3 Givenchy Le Makeup edition as a partnership with the French perfume company, featuring a matte white body with metallic purple and rose accents was the first. The second was the DS Performance line, offering performance styling without the actual performance build, allowing for choices such as contrasting upholstery stitching and roof colors, high-gloss wheels, new decal choices, and more.

No matter what of its many iterations you have, the CitroŽn DS3 deserves a full understanding of its build and maintenance needs. Download the CitroŽn DS3 service manual PDF today.
